WELCOME TO OUR COMMUNITY GARDEN PAGE!
Over the next three years, the community garden will be expanded to an outdoor classroom where teachers and PreK-12th grade students can apply the knowledge they learned in science class, study nutrition, and have students conduct experiments in a living environment.

INTERACTIVE GARDEN DESIGN
The garden will mostly focus on crop-producing plants, vegetables that grow in Cattaraugus' particular climate USDA Hardiness Zones 5a, 5b and 6a. These vegetables include, tomatoes, onions, peppers, potatoes, herbs, and more. The garden will include native plants that attract pollinators. The School plans to plant a native butterfly garden this year to teach students about, insects, endangered species and preservation efforts.
